DOLBY CONSULTING AND TRAINING
When working at the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation, ARTECAST’s founder Karl M. Slavik was responsible for implementing a surround sound infrastructure at ORF’s broadcasting centre in Vienna (Dolby Digital, Dolby E). Within four short months two TV channels were transformed to surround sound, making the ORF the first public broadcaster in Europe to transmit in Dolby Digital 5.1, starting with the prestigious News Years Concert on January 1st, 2003.
We are indeed very happy that Dolby Laboratories appointed ARTECAST / Karl M. Slavik as a Dolby Broadcast Consultant and Trainer for Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland and other countries in Europe.
Meanwhile hundreds of persons have been advised and trained by ARTECAST for surround sound production, contribution, disc media authoring, digital film and broadcasting via IPTV and DVB, including Dolby E, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD, Dolby ProLogic II and other surround sound enabling technologies.
